The never-ending existencial crisis
"Who am I?" is a question that eludes most of us. Yours truly, included. So, instead of getting too philosophical, I will change the question to "What am I?"
A photographer and weirdo
The weird kid. The odd man out. That's always who I've been, and while accepting it has been hard, it has inevitably made me an observer. A watcher. Followed by visual creativity at a young age. However, it was in my late teens that I found the tools that would lead to my career later in life. The camera.
Today, I not only get to do what I love, but what I've learned to be good at. Photography.
An image is worth a thousand words. A saying that has lost almost all its meaning in a world of LLMs and Generative AI. While AI might be great for visualizing things that could be, we must not forget to stay in the present. That's where I come in. To capture the moment. To immortalize the things that are.
